We have been here two weeks. Two weeks of PICU,and so far one day of regular floor room. If you seen/read the last post, you know about the cafeteria and the run in with his first order of room service. This just gets better and better each day. (Sarcasuim implied)
Since being forced to call room service for meals; it hasn't gotten any better. First, room service menu doesn't match room menus anywhere in this place. Everytime we (my son or I) call to place the order, we have to spend an extra ten minutes just to make the food service operator take the order as given. Operator at breakfast will let him order bacon, but the operator at lunch and dinner won't. Operator at lunch will let him order an extra salad,( Salad do not count in a diabetic diet) but the dinner won't.
Right now, because we could not order me something to eat via room service, (So done paying money here) I'm on my way to the money vacuum that is the cafeteria here. I have to hurry to get there if I wish to buy anything. This place even locks down the drink station.
